Ernest "Ernie" F. Schuchert

ERNEST “ERNIE” F. SCHUCHERT, JR., 87 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 3:15 am, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri .

He was born to the late Ernest F., Sr. and Dorothy M. (nee: Schirmer) Schuchert on July 26, 1928 in Chester, Illinois.

He married Lorraine Seibold on June 16, 1951 in Chester, IL.  She preceded him in death on January 8, 2005.

Ernie was a Mail Carrier in Chester, Illinois for 33 years.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois, the Knights of Columbus #3790 in Chester, and an Alderman for the City of Chester for 14 years, from     to March 1, 1986 – November 20, 2000.

It was Ernie’s wish to be cremated.
