Rudelle (Simmons) Onderdonk

RUDELLE C. (SIMMONS) ONDERDONK, 90 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:53 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.

She was born to the late Rudolph and Edith (nee: Steele) Luckhaupt on August 23, 1925 in Chester, Illinois.

Rudelle married William Lee Simmons on June 10, 1947 in Union City, Tennessee.  He preceded her in death on April 26, 1969.  She then married Emil N. Onderdonk on December 24, 1974 in Chester, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2014.

Rudelle was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois.

She had worked in the dietary department at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.
