Loretta H. Alms

LORETTA H. ALMS, 91 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 6:45 am, Monday, February 22, 2016 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL.

She was born to the late Henry and Emma (nee: Kipp) Heinks on August 3, 1924 in Granite City, Illinois.

She married Elmer H. Alms on October 19, 1946 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on February 1, 2004.

Loretta was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois.  She was a volunteer in the gift shop at Memorial Hospital and Chester Senior Center.

She had worked as a retail clerk.
