Dorothy "Dotty" M. Maes

DOROTHY M. “DOTTY” MAES, 85 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:25 am, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL.

She was born to the late Ben and Florence (nee: Holmes) Eggers on October 18, 1930 in Chester, Illinois.

She married Anthony “Tony” Maes on November 22, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas.  He preceded her in death on May 19, 2003.

Dotty was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois and the Blessed Virgin Mary Altar Sodality.  She was an avid bowler, St. Louis Cardinal fan and Green Bay Packers fan .

She had worked as a greeter and cashier at Chester WalMart for 19 years.
