Imogene M. Gordon

IMOGENE M. GORDON, 89 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:58 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.

She was born to the late Vernon and Elva (nee: Sassenger) Kempfer on July 31, 1926 in Roots, Illinois.

She married Wayne G. Gordon on March 13, 1970 in Edwardsville, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1995.

Imogene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She had worked in the Print Shop for Western Auto.

It was Imogene’s wish to be cremated.

Burial will be at a later date.
