MAEV C. BROWN, 94 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:52 am, Thursday, December 17, 2015 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born to the late Donald A. and Ida (nee Bessen) Berry on January 11, 1921 in Sparta, Illinois.
Maev married S.F. “Bus” Brown on August 30, 1941 in Perryville, Missouri; he survives.
She was a homemaker.
Maev was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Chester, Illinois. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling. She had traveled all over the United States and abroad, visiting Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Alaska and Canada. She also enjoyed Ballroom Dancing with her husband Bus, dancing three nights a week.
