WILLIAM P. LANG, 90, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:28 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late Hallie and Emma (nee Knapp) Lang on October 26, 1925 in Chester, Illinois. He married Mary Josephine “Josie” Yankey on October 9, 1946 in Chester, Illinois; she preceded him in death on September 17, 2013.

He had worked as a Retail Clerk in several area grocery stores. He was a Navy Seabees Veteran.

Preceded in death by : Parents, Wife – Mary Josephine “Josie” Lang, 1 Son – Charles Lang, 1 Brother – Julian Lang and Oinna Wilson

It was William’s wishes to be cremated; a private burial will be held at a later date.
