EUGENE T. "GENE" MINER, 77, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:30 am, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. He was born to the late Raymond and Susie (nee Chandler) Miner on March 19, 1938 in Goodland, Missouri. He owned and operated S.O.S. Sanitation that served the communities of Chester, Prairie du Rocher, Red Bud and Ellis Grove for 30 years. He was of the Protestant Faith. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1764 in Chester, Illinois.
