MARCELLA A. TRESSLER, 95, of Chester, Illinois, formerly of Rockwood, Illinois, passed away at 9:03 pm, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at her son's home in Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late Charles G. and Louisa B. (nee Felter) Diebold on January 9, 1920 in Oran, Missouri. She married Donald "Doc" W. Tressler; he preceded her in death on September 28, 2007. She had worked at Hullings Restaurant as a waitress and cook and also worked in a factory during WWII. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed doing farm work, working in the garden, crocheting, picking pecans and raising her 5 boys. Survivors: 3 Sons: Her Caregivers - Ike (Darla) Tressler Chester, IL Joe (Marliyn) Tressler Steeleville, IL David (Barb) Tressler Chester, IL 5 Grandchildren: Richard Simpson Samantha Simpson-Bryant Amy Tressler Marci Tressler (also her caregiver) Jena Tressler 3 Great Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends Preceded in death by: Parents and Step-Mother - Lovia Diebold, Husband - Doc Tressler, 2 Sons - Larry & Donnie Simpson, 4 Brothers - John, Ben, Joseph, & Leon Diebold and 1 Sister - Helen Reischman Graveside Service: 2:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2015 Mt.
