KAREN S HERSCHBACH, 73, of Chester, IL, formerly of Perryville, MO, passed away at 5:45 am, Thursday, November 12, 2014 at her home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late Steve and Dorothy (nee: Weddle) Gasper on August 16, 1942 in Marion, Indiana. Karen married James D. "Jim" Herschbach on June 25, 1960 in Marion, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2014. Karen was a retail clerk at WalMart. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Chester, Illinois, the Red Hat Society, United Methodist Women and was an avid bowler. Survivors 2 Children: Michael (Janet) Herschbach Chester, IL Michelle Boner Perryville, MO 2 Siblings: Gary Gasper Georgia Judy (Thomas) Bright Marion, IN 4 Grandchildren Jeremy (Jamie) Barton, Joshua (Megan) Barton, Stephen Herschbach and Kelli Herschbach 6 Great Grandchildren Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends survive Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - James D.
