LOLA J. SCHILLING, 97, of Waterloo, Illinois, formerly of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 8:24 pm, Friday, October 23, 2015 at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born to the late Fred and Anna (nee Petry) Heuman on January 16, 1918 in Preston, Illinois She married Clarence "Pete" Schilling on August 9, 1945; he preceded her in death on February 26, 1992. She was a homemaker. She had worked at International Shoe Company in Evansville, Illinois and had owned and operated Schilling Grocery Store with her husband for many years. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois, D.A.V., and had been a charter member of the Legion Auxiliary in Evansville.
