LINDA A. HANEBUTT, 68, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 6:15 am, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Illinois. She was born to the late Joseph and Jeanne (nee Moran) Vessely on February 8, 1947 in La Porte, Indiana. She married Roger Hanebutt on January 4, 1969 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois; he survives. She had been a Human Resource Specialist for Jefferson Barracks V.A. Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri for 25 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Illinois; where she sang in the choir, was a reader for services and served 5 terms on the Parish Council. She was also an avid golfer and a member of the North County Country Club in Red Bud, Illinois. Linda was a Navy Veteran. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Red Bud, Illinois and American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville, Illinois.
