SHELBY "COONEY" G. LUDWIG, 83, of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 6:00 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to the late Albert and Aurelia M. (nee Ruez) Ludwig on April 23, 1932 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He was never married. He had worked at Cerro Copper & Brass in Sauget, Illinois. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and and American Legion Post # 622 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He was an United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
