EARL "SHORTY" H. LINNERTZ, 81, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 5:27 pm, Friday, August 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born to the later Frank and Cecilia (nee Shea) Linnertz on April 29, 1934 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He married Patricia Martin on February 11, 1956 in Chester, Illinois; she survives. He had worked as a chauffeur for the Quality Stone Quarry in Waterloo, Illinois. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of Teamster Local #50.
