CHRISTIAN LUCAS YOUNG, 22, of Steeleville, IL passed away at 11:35 pm on Monday, July 13, 2015, near Route 150 in Chester, IL. He was born to Kevin and Colleen (nee: Selle) Young on October 19, 1992 in Sparta, IL. He married Alexandrea Yow on June 16, 2012 in Chester, IL. She survives. Chris was a deckhand for Southern Illinois Transfer Inc. Survivors: Wife: Alexandrea Young Chester, IL Father: Kevin Young Steeleville, IL Mother & Step-Father: Colleen (Ben) Bennett Perryville, MO Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Louis & Kassondra Yow Ellis Grove, IL Grandparents: William Young Wine Hill, IL Faye & John Gannon Black, MO 1 Sister: Rachael Mae Young Sedgewickville, MO 1 Nephew: Kohlbyn Reeves Sedgewickville, MO Cousins: Matthew Thornton Festus, MO Aaron Young Rockwood, IL Preceded in death by: Paternal Grandmother - Juanita Young and Maternal Grandfather - William "Buck" Selle It was Christian's wish to be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.
