CLAUDIE J. SCHULTE, 89, of Perryville, Missouri, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:50 am on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri. She was born to the late Claude and Marie (nee: Sharp) Hill on April 30, 1926 in Cobden, Illinois. She married Lester G. Schulte on May 7, 1947 in Chester, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2010. Claudie was a homemaker. She had worked for Head Start as a School Bus Aide and Cook. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois, American Legion Auxiliary, Chester Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Perryville Hospital Auxiliary and DAV Women Auxiliary. She loved to sing - she sang for many weddings and funerals.
