GLORIA WOLFF SPRAGUE, 90, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:39 am, Wednesday, July 01, 2015 at Chester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late William Frederick and Jennie Catherine (nee Marlow) Saak on September 22, 1924 in Du Quoin, Illinois. She married Omer "Tony" W. Wolff and he preceded her in death on June 12, 1969; then she married Donald Sprague on May 12, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois; he preceded her in death on August 4, 1998. She had been a Bank Teller for McHenry Bank & Trust, McHenry, Illinois. In her earlier years, she had worked as a waitress for the Night Hawk, worked for Victor Drugs and an had been an assistant Pharmacist at Memorial Hospital in Chester in the 70's. She was of the Catholic Faith and had attended St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois. She also had been a member of McHenry Women Club and sat on the Board of Directors at McHenry Northwest Medical Center, McHenry, Illinois. Wolff Vienna, IL 1 Step-Son: Richard (Robin) Sprague Placitas, NM 3 Siblings: Wib (Julia) Saak Chester, IL Coleen Lickiss Marquette Heights, IL Mary Rose (Bob) McBride St. Louis, MO 4 Grandchildren: Allison (Larry) Blechle Chester, IL Shannon (Nicole) Wolff Chester, IL Danielle (Jason) Holland Manchester, TN Jason Wolff Gatlinburg, TN 5 Great Grandchildren: Lacey Wolff, Connor Wolff, Camryn Wolff, Allie Holland and Jacob Holland 1 Great-Great Grandson: Cannon Wolff Preceded in death by: Parents, 1st Husband - Omer "Tony" W. Wolff, 2nd Husband - Don Sprague and 1 Sister - Virginia Frazier It was Gloria's wishes to be cremated. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held, Friday, July 3, 2015 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois. Memorial can be given to The Special Olympics.
