THOMAS "Tommy" E. LUX, 81, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 12:01 am, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to the late Thomas Kelly and Nellie (nee Page) Lux on December 14, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri. He married Marlene Braun on September 29, 1956 in Mississippi; she survives. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for Local #268 in Caseyville, Illinois. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and American Legion Post #622 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. Tommy also served on the Prairie du Rocher Fire Department and the Village Board. He was a Korean Conflict Navy Veteran. He loved fishing and Cardinals Baseball. He played baseball and softball over the years and even coached Khoury League. He also enjoyed playing Euchre.
