James "Jim" W. Carter

JAMES "JIM" W. CARTER, 65, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 11:10 pm, Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Chester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chester, Illinois. He was born to the late Willis and Dolores (nee Wolff) Carter on November 3, 1949 in Chester, Illinois. He married Patricia G. Mott on October 9, 1984 in Paducah, Kentucky; she survives. He had been a Supervisor in food service at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois for 22 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was a coach for Girls Softball, Boys Baseball, was formerly the Athletic Director at St. Mary's, was on a bowling league and was an avid Cardinal fan.
