VERNON J. MUDD, 95, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 6:05 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to the late Emory and Anna (nee Peyrott) Mudd on May 23, 1919 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. Vernon married Leona Naeger on October 31, 1945 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; she preceded her in death on December 5, 2012. He was a farmer. Vernon was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, Knight of Columbus #1952 in Evansville, Illinois and Randolph County Farm Bureau.
