EUGENE ROBERT JOSHU, 87, of Ruma, Illinois, passed away at 2:25 pm, Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. John Hospital, Springfield, IL. He was born to the late Anton and Anna (nee Fech) Joshu on January 3, 1928 in Dupo, Illinois. Eugene married Marilyn E Otter on November 27, 1947 in Dupo, IL. She preceded him in death on March 27, 1987. He was a pipefitter and welder. He worked construction at Baldwin Power Plant, Shell Oil in Texas, Wood River Refineries, ADM in Decatur and many others. He was also an Army Veteran. Eugene was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ruma, Illinois His love was Model Aviation. He was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, the National Free Flight Society, the St. Louis Thermalleers and of Dupo High School - Class of 1946.
