PATRICIA LYN MONTROY, 63, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away at 2:25 pm, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to Glen E. and Margaret E. (nee Woll) Sternberg on October 21, 1951 in Sparta, Illinois. She married Francis W. Montroy on September 28, 1973 in Walsh, Illinois; he survives. She had been a teacher at Prairie du Rocher Grade School for 25 years and she also taught chorus. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Walsh, Illinois and she played the organ for services. She graduated from Sparta High School in 1969, SEMO with her Bachelor in Education in 1972 and SIUE with her Master in Education in 1991.
