RUBY FRANCES ALLISON, 97, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:17 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late John H. and Sylvia (nee: Medcalf) Jungewaelter on July 24, 1917 in Warrenton, MO. She married Reuel D. Allison on August 14, 1943 in San Diego, CA. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1995. Ruby was a retail clerk. She had worked at Chester Bakery, the International Shoe Company in Chester and Schueren's Shoe Store. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, IL, The Red Hat Ladies of Chester, IL, Women's Club, Beta Sigma Phi, American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 Auxiliary and the Catholic Council of Women. Ruby was a quilter and loved crafts.
