ARLINE ELEANORA REED, 82, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois She was born to the late Elmer and Thelma (nee Stumpf) Sparwasser on December 7, 1932 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She married Robert B. Reed on April 24, 1955; he preceded her in death on December 28, 1991. She had worked for Gordon's Restaurant in Hecker, Illinois. She also wrote articles for the local newspapers under the name "Unique Antique". She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Red Bud, Illinois. She enjoyed going to watch her brother's band, "Butch" and the Polka Kings; and going to see Elvis Impersonators. She was an avid NASCAR fan.
