PHOEBE KEMPFER, 77, of Ellis Grove, IL, passed away at 4:35 pm, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, IL. She was born to Clyde and Tressie (nee: Mayberry) Kissiar on September 1, 1937 in Missouri She married Ivan James Kempfer in 1953 in Ellis Grove, IL. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1994. Phoebe was a School Bus Driver. She was of the Baptist faith. Bingo was her passion.
