BERTHA IRENE TURNER PRATER, 93, of Chester, IL, formerly of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late John B. Gordon Turner and Ada Mae (nee: Miner) Turner on March 8, 1921 in Bixby, MO. Bertha married Howard I. Prater on October 27, 1936 in Houston, Texas County, MO. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1995. She was a housewife. Bertha was of the Baptist Faith and a member of AARP. Survivors: 8 Children: Ada Mae Hill Percy, IL Janet M.
