LORRAINE L. WITTENBRINK, 90, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:10 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Chester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chester, IL. She was born to the late John and Helen (nee: King) Nessel on July 8, 1924 in St. Louis, MO. She married George E. Wittenbrink. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1944. She then married Fred Harding Wittenbrink, Jr. on March 23, 1946 in Chester, IL. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2007. Lorraine was seamstress for Juergens Cleaners & Tailoring Shop. She was of the Catholic faith. Lorraine was a member of the VFW Post #3553 Auxiliary and American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 Auxiliary. Survivors: 2 Daughters: Virginia (Pat) Tripp Chester, IL Gail (Gary) Beale The Villages, FL 3 Grandchildren: Michelle Dungey Tracey (Jason) Wade Andrew (Ashleigh) Beale 5 Great Grandchildren: Nicole, Jordan, Brittney, Nicholas and Zackery 5 Great-Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents, 2 Husbands - George E. Wittenbrink and Fred Harding Wittenbrink, Jr., 1 Granddaughter - Karen L.
