ALICE L. EGGEMEYER, 94, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:03 am on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late Austin H. and Lizzie (nee: Mason) Davis on January 21, 1920 in Orange, VA. She married Omer H. Eggemeyer on December 8, 1945. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2011. Alice was an office worker at the International Shoe Company in Chester and Evansville and at Knowles Construction. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Chester, IL, American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 Auxiliary and the VFW Post #3553 Auxiliary.
