OLIVER H. WOLTER, 89, of Evansville, IL, passed away at 5:29 am, Monday, January 12, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL. He was born to the late Louis and Edna (nee: Goedelmann) Wolter on February 17, 1925 in Evansville, Illinois. Oliver married Dorothy Koester on January 2, 1954 in Evansville, IL. She survives. He was mechanic for Kaiser Implement and later opened his own business - Wolter Repair Shop. Oliver was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois where he held various offices - elder, financial secretary, trustee, school board and treasurer. He was also a member of the Chester VFW Post #3553 and the Evansville American Legion Post #1172.
