BETTY JEAN LAMBERT, 79, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at 10:15 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Sylvester and Rachel Isaacs on March 19, 1935 in Sikeston, Missouri. She married Jesse M. Lambert on January 7, 1956; he survives. Betty and her husband, Jesse, owned and operated Bud & Betty Bakery in Cahokia, Illinois for 10 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, Illinois. Survivors: Husband Jesse Lambert Columbia, IL 3 Children Kevin Mack Lambert Dupo, IL Barbara Jean (Jay) Hughes Columbia, IL Jeffery Lynn (Maryanne) Lambert Columbia, IL 6 Grandchildren Loren Nemetz Matthew Lambert Justin Hughes Nicole Hughes Ben Lambert Jessica Lambert 1 Great Granddaughter Alexis Sue Preceded in death by Parents, Step-Father - John F. Woods and 1 Brother - Charles Isaacs It was Betty's wishes to be cremated. Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.
