IRENE C. MUETH BATHON, 92, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 5:40 pm, Monday, December 22, 2014 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, Illinois. She was born to the late Christopher and Frieda Frances (nee Birkner) Buehler on June 22, 1922 in Hecker, Illinois. She married Delbert Mueth; he preceded her in death on July 13, 1968. She then married John Bathon on August 21, 1971 in Red Bud, Illinois; he preceded her in death in 1990. She was a homemaker. She had been a seamstress at the Dress Factory in Red Bud and also had been a waitress at The Royal in Red Bud. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Illinois and former member of St. Ann's CCW. She was an avid quilter, loved music, dancing and playing cards.
