DONALD RAY McCORMICK, 77, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 pm, Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. He was born to the Herbert R. and Edith Marie (nee: Stewart) McCormick on October 23, 1937 in Rockwood, Illinois. He married Irene Gretzmacher on May 30, 1964 in Sumter, SC. She survives. He was a Truck Driver for Gilster Mary-Lee Corp. for 40 years. Donald was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was a Member of the Moose Lodge #1764, the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and the VFW Post #3553 all in Chester. He was an Army Veteran.
