LARRY MARVIN WOODS, 73, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:44 pm, Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. He was born to the late William and Katie (nee: Hardin) Woods on June 28, 1941 in Herrin, Illinois. He was a Correctional Industry Supervisor at Menard Penitentiary for 27 years. Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chester, American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and Chester Eagles Aerie #3252. He repaired clocks for over 40 years and collected antiques. He was an Army Veteran.
