DONALD L. ROBERT, 81, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:35 pm, Friday, December 5, 2014 at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois. He was born to the late Henry G. and Ethel K. (nee Johnson) Robert on January 11, 1933 in Modoc, Illinois. He married Beulah Simpson on April 25, 1953 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ruma, Illinois; she survives. He had worked in the Shipping Department at Singer in Red Bud, Illinois for 35 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Illinois and was also a Eucharist Minister and a member of the Holy Name Sodality. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus Fort Kaskaskia Assembly and a member of the Knight of Columbus #1952 in Evansville, Illinois, where he had served as past Grand Knight. He was Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
