SHERIDAN KEITH "DUKE" SNIDER, 78, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:00 am, Friday, November 21, 2014 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois. He was born to the late Willis Sheridan and Rose (nee: Danis) Snider on October 9, 1936 in Riley Lake, IL. He married Joyce Ann Miller on May 5, 1959 in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2000. Duke was a heavy equipment operator employed by Luhr Brothers of Columbia and a member of Operating Engineers Local 520 of Swansea. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL and the American Legion Alva Courier Post #487. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams and the Chester Yellow Jackets. He was an Army Veteran.
