She was born on July 6, 1954 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Finley P. and Millie Nell (nee: Stewart) Medford. She married Charles Richards on November 21, 1986 in Perryville, MO. He survives. Jane was a sales clerk at WalMart. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chester, IL and the Chester Eagles Aerie #3252.
