BARBARA J. CANTRALL, 87, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 6:50 pm, Sunday, October 19,2 014 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Stanley and Ora Alice (nee Quinsenberry) Madison in Emporia, Kansas on December 13, 1926. She married James Cantrall on November 5, 1955 in Caseyville, Illinois; he preceded her in death June 13, 1995. She was a homemaker. She loved crocheting, doing cross word puzzle and enjoyed going camping. She had been a member of the Moose Lodge in Cahokia and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Cahokia and Red Bud. Survivors: 3 Children David (Peggy) Foster Farmers Branch, TX James Cantrall, Jr. Red Bud, IL Laura Cantrall Ellis Grove, IL 10 Grandchildren Stanley Rakes, Kimberley Rakes, Lonnie Rakes, Tami (Danny) Box, Staci McLemore, Larissa (Kurt) Wandro, Cory Patterson, Tisha Cantrall, Jennifer Cantrall and Luke Cantrall (Friend - Carla Niederbach) 16 Great Grandchildren 3 Great Great Grandchildren Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends Preceded in death by Parents, Husband, 1 Daughter - Sharon K. Moore, 4 Sisters - Joann Schmidt, Doris Bradshaw, Marjorie Hulsey and Laura Digby, 1 Grandson - Steven Freeman, and1 Great Grandson - Nathan Badgett It was Barbara's wishes to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place after 4:00 pm, Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Just Sue's in Evansville, Illinois.
