ESTHER EILEEN McCUTCHEON, 93, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born to the late Thomas Stanley and Minnie (nee Wallis) Gates on July 26, 1921 in Barnett, Illinois. She married Frank G. McCutcheon, Jr. on August 4, 1946 in Litchfield, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 2, 1998. She had been a Secretary at the Red Bud Elementary School for 14 years. She retired in 1984. She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Red Bud, Illinois and St. Peter United Church of Christ Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Senior Circle and past member of Randolph County Home Extension. She also volunteered at the Red Bud Regional Hospital and helped with many blood drives over the years.
