GENEVA M. BRAUN, 91, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 5:04 am, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Henry and Josephine (nee Levery) Horrell on July 7, 1923 in Modoc, Illinois. She married Anthony Braun on February 4, 1943 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on June 14, 1994. She had worked a Synder General in Red Bud, Illinois. She was a St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois and also the St. Ann's Altar Sodality. She was an avid quilter and helped host the funeral dinner for the church. She also enjoyed helping with bingo at Nursing Home.
