G. ARTHUR ZIEBOLD, 96, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:52 pm, Friday, September 12, 2014 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to the late Gottlieb and Alma (nee Homringhausen) Ziebold on August 9, 1918 in Red Bud, Illinois. He married Ruby (nee Haynes) Stenzel on April 1, 1954 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Red Bud, Illinois; she survives. He had been an Insurance Agent for Ackermann Agency and Real Estate Broker for Ziebold Realty in Red Bud, Illinois for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and St. Peter Brotherhood, Red Bud, Illinois, a charter member of the V.F.W. Post #6632 in Red Bud and was a past commander; a charter member of the American Legion Post # 622 Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; Masonic Lodge #427 in Red Bud; Eastern Star (Red Bud Chapter); Ainad Temple in East St. Louis, Illinois; Randolph County Shrine Club and was the manager of the Drum & Bugle Corp in Red Bud. He was one of founding contributor of the Belleville Area College - Red Bud Campus and one of the founders of the North County Country Club. He was also a member of the Randolph County Housing Authority. He was also a contributor to the Red Bud City Museum. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
