CLARA M. CHAMBERS, 102, of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 2:04 am, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois. She was born to the late Henry and Clara (nee Witmer) Scherle on January 7, 1912 in Evansville, Illinois. She had worked at the International Shoe Company in Evansville, Illinois. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Evansville, Illinois. Survivors: 1 Daughter Claradel Donjon (Ray Dorion) Red Bud, IL 2 Sons Gerald Chambers North Carolina Terrell (Sharon) Chambers West Frankfort, IL Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchild Many Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by Parents, 1 Son - James Chamber, 2 Grandsons - John & Kenneth, 2 Great Grandchildren - Adam & Dawn, 9 Brothers and 3 Sisters It was Clara's wish to have her body donated to Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.
