JAMES "Jim Bob" A. ALESASKI, 66, of Modoc, Illinois, passed away at 11:05 am, Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. He was born to Anthony and Marcella (nee Brendel) Alesaski on December 13, 1947 in Belleville, Illinois. He married Judith (nee Weber) Porter on April 17, 1970 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; she preceded him in death in 1986. He had been a guard at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois for 29 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; AFSCME and Fort de Chartres Sportsman Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed going to Cardinal Baseball games. He was an Army veteran. Survivors: Mother Marcella Alesaski O'Fallon, IL 3 Siblings John (Debra) Alesaski O'Fallon, IL Kathy (Bill) Short O'Fallon, IL Susan (Paul) Owens O'Fallon, IL Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends Preceded in death by Wife - Judy and Father - Anthony It was James' wishes to be cremated.
