LORNA ROSE EGGEMEYER, 84, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:25 am on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL. She was born to the late Joseph L. and Emma (nee: Lauterjung) Montroy on July 13, 1930 in Chester, IL. She married Melbert Eggemeyer on June 9, 1951 in Chester, IL. He survives. Lorna was a Case Worker for the Illinois Department of Public Aid for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chester, IL. She was also a member of the Catholic Council of Women, the Red Hat Society, Randolph County Home Extension and Chester Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
