DELBERT T. RODENBERG, 82, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. Anthony's Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born to the late Armin and Margaret (Barker) Rodenberg on January 13, 1932 in Fults, Illinois. He married Doris Mattingly on February 17, 1953 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Renault, Illinois; she preceded in death on March 4, 2008. He was a Farmer. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, Fort de Chartes Sportsman Club and Randolph County Farm Bureau. Survivors: 3 Daughters Debbie (Bob) Schilling Valmeyer, IL Donna (Steven) Yeater Waukegan, IL Denise Rodenberg Prairie du Rocher, IL 1 Brother Raymond (June) Rodenberg Waterloo, IL 5 Grandchildren Eric (April) Rodenberg Joshua Rodenberg & Special Friend Lisa Wendy (Dave) Cotton Tiffany (Will) Korves Steven Yeater Many Great Grandchildren Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends Preceded in death by Parents, Wife -Doris, 1 Son - Darrell Rodenberg and 2 Sisters - Vera Schultheis & Virginia Steibel It was Delbert's wishes to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be at 3:30 pm, Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois with Msgr Daniel J. Jurek officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
