EMOGENE M. CUSHMAN, 85, of Chester, Illinois passed away at 9:00 pm, Monday, June 9, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late Stephen V. and Lena E. (nee: Bessen) Grott on October 19, 1928 in Chester, IL. Emogene was married to Elroy E. Cushman on February 14, 1953. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1994. She was a retired clerk for Hallmark gift shop in Salem, IL. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester Illinois and the Catholic Council of Women.
