AUDREY MARIE RAGLAND, 92, of Steeleville, Illinois, formerly of Ellis Grove, Illinois passed away at 8:35 am on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her home in Steeleville, Illinois. She was born to the late Vernon "Pat" and Elva Mae (nee Sassenger) Kempfer on October 24, 1921 in Riley Lake, Illinois. She married Roy Kenneth Ragland on September 9, 1942 in Overland, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2010. Audrey was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Ellis Grove Baptist Church, a current member of Steeleville Baptist Church and their choir. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, VFW Auxiliary Post #3553, American Legion Auxiliary Alva Courier Post #457 in Chester, IL and the WIBC Bowling League. Audrey took great pleasure in her family, friends and church community and continues her gardening and birding activities until her final day.
