LEE JOHN OTTEN, 77, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 10:15 am, Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois. He was born to the late Leo N. and Eleanor (nee Sahrhage) Otten on September 1, 1936 in Chester, Illinois. He married Evangeline H. Louveau on August 4, 1984 in Evansville, Illinois; she survives. He had been Heavy Equipment Operator for Local #520. He was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois; where he the former church custodian. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge # 427 in Red Bud, Illinois and Operating Engineer #520 in Granite City, Illinois. He served as Volunteer Fireman for the Village of Evansville for 50 years and also had been a former assistant chief and captain.
