ROB A. HEUER, 67, of Chester, Illinois, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born to late Peter Ray and Geneva M. (nee Mabuce) Heuer on October 9, 1946 in Red Bud, Illinois. He married his long time love of 14 years, Bonnie Kueker on March 21, 2014 in Chester, Illinois; she survives. He had been a carpenter for over 44 years and had worked for William Knowles Construction, McLean/Schroeder Construction, Heuer/Thies Construction, Red Dot Construction and Amrent - Billy Knowles. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Chester, Illinois; V.F.W. Post # 3553 in Chester; American Legion Post # 487 in Chester, were he was past commander; Eagles Club Aerie #3252 in Chester; Carpenter Local #1361 in Chester; Chester Boat Club; Vietnam Veterans of America; and he was past member of the Chester Jaycees, were he was a Past President.
