EUNICE BUENING, 99, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:07 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her home in Chester, IL. She was born to the late Edward and Francis (nee: Kerwood) Wendell on April 19, 1914 in Willisville, IL. She married William F. Buening on June 16, 1951 in Percy, IL. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1994. Eunice was a retired nurse. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL. She was also a member of the L.W.M.L., American Legion Auxiliary, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a Charter Member of Home Extension. Her passions were swimming and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
