DENNIS "TOOTER" REHMER, 68, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born to William and Norma (nee Stellhorn) Rehmer on March 27, 1945 in Red Bud, Illinois. He married Peggy Keil on May 20, 1978 at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud, Illinois. She survives. Dennis had worked for Chester Transfer and retired from H. B. Russell. He also owned the Automatic Auto Wash in Red Bud. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois. He was also a member of the VFW Post #6632 in Red Bud, the American Legion Post #622 in Prairie du Rocher, the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce, North County Country Club and B.F.I. Tooter was an avid Cardinals Baseball Fan and also loved to vacation in Mexico.
